Book Clubs

A cup of tea on a table next to a stack of books

I don’t know about you, but as soon as I finish a really good book (or a really bad one) the first thing I want to do is to talk to someone about it. Having a reading-buddy is great! Having a whole bunch of them is even better, hence the huge popularity of reading groups and book clubs these days. A book to discuss, a cosy corner in the library or a coffee shop, maybe even a bottle of wine … and I’m in heaven!

The problem is that often the discussion can be a bit wandering, and sometimes you come away thinking that the group didn’t thoroughly nail a central issue or cover all the aspects.

That’s why, as a writer, I increasingly provide discussion points and questions for groups who choose to read my books.

You can download the PDFs of my discussion points here:

- The Widow’s Mite

- The Widow’s Weeds

If you’d like me to provide questions for another book, just let me know.
I can join your group via Zoom, Skype or Messenger. You might want me to do a reading, answer questions, discuss the self-publishing process or just be part of the conversation. We can set that up via the Contact Allie page. There is no charge for this.

Alternatively, if you’d like me to attend your group in person, I might be able to do that too.
I can provide reading packs of print books at discounted prices. Do enquire.
